Helmar adheasive teams up with Faber-Castell and My Minds Eye

I am so very pleased to share a layout that I have been sitting on for a couple of weeks.  I just loved how my Helmar adheasives teamed up with Faber-Castell Pastel pencils and My Mind's Eye - Be amazing collection to create this layout.

You can see some step by step pics of how the layout came together including creating the background, over   on my post on the Helmar Blog but here are some detail pics as well :)

Also want to share some exciting news.... it was sooo cool to win over at Kraft It Up's challenge blog for June.  I loved playing with the challenge that was set and even more excited to be a winner!!

I hope you enjoyed my share today!

Think I might get back to playing with some more My Mind's Eye papers that I am just loving at the moment!!

First post for Down Under Direct

So today my first post for Down Under Direct is up on the inspiration blog.  I just LOVED creating this layout, and it has SO many hidden parts for extra photos and journalling.  Working with the Spellbinders dies, took the use of Bazzill Cardstock to a whole different level.  There is a great deal of colour and depth to the layout and I have hardly used any patterned paper at all!!
Here is the finished layout, but head on over to my post for more pictures of all the hidden photos and journalling.
This cute little butterfly was made from a flower cut out with a spellbinders die
I just LOVE LOVE LOVE this 'Rose Creations Die' - who needs bought flowers??

Well I hope you enjoyed my share today, and are inspired to get creating and get more out of your plan cardstock, as there isn't anything plain about this layout!
