My Best Friend's Wedding
I did this double layout a little while ago and thought I should put it up to share. I used the Argentella range of paper by Kaiser which I just LOVE!! It is a very 'me' paper and I was so thrilled when it was created (I was still working there at that stage). My girlfriend's wedding photos really suited this paper even though her photos are just so lovely they really carry their own. This being the case, I didn't want too much on this layout (not usually me) and wanted the embellishments to be an accent rather than a focus.
The hearts have been cut out of the paper using my pazzles machine which I love but have to spend some time learing how to use it a little more.
Hope you enjoy it...

My Smiling boy
I thought I would share an updated photo of my special man! He is growing and developing so much. He is loving his gym, bouncer and mobile and is often talking and smiling at the animals hanging off them.
He is his happiest in the morning, full of smiles and plenty of chatter. Here is a photo I took this morning while he was lying on the change table. He loves being on there and having me talk to him. He also loves the mobile that has now been fixed to the end of it which serves as a great distraction to be changing him.
I am still really enjoying motherhood and even starting to find some time to do some scrapbooking. I have been busy working on his thank-you cards of which I have about 50 to send so a bit of work ahead of me, lucky I am about half way there now so will be getting them out shortly. I will post a photo of them when they are done and have been sent... don't want to spoil the surprise for those that read my blog!

Nappy Holder
Ok so I have not been doing as much scrapbooking since having Austin, but slowly getting on track with that. Need to get some of those first month photos done in layouts so that I don't fall behind!
This project I did before I had him, but was not able to finish it off with the ribbon until he arrived as if it was a girl the ribbon was going to be pink. I finished it off last week with the ribbon and have just taken some photos.
The box is made from MDF and my lovely husband cut the wood and glued it together for me so that I could have it made to the dimensions that would fit the nappies nicely. I made it using some really cute Making memories paper which match the room theme of safari animals.

New cards for special girls
Ok firstly I thought I would give you all an update on my special little man. He is doing really well and is an absolute angel. I am loving motherhood and all it brings. I will post some new photos of him soon. Obviously there has been a HEAP to take in over the last 4 weeks and well my scrapping has suffered a little, BUT I am starting to be able to make time with the amount of visitors to see him have started to slow. We still have more visitors on the way, but definitely less than over the last few weeks.
This second card has some raised cut out paper using some foam dots and a pretty twiddleybits butterfly that has been sprayed with coloursprays. The coloursprays make it SO quick and easy to finish these cardboard pieces!
I have made a little time over this time to get SOME scrapping done (still have a few unfinished or not yet photographed projects yet to share) and here are a couple of cards I made last weekend. They are for 2 special girls who have their birthdays this week. They will receive them tomorrow so I figure it is safe to share... that and I thought I better photograph them before I send them on their way.I made this card using some really nice twiddleybits pieces. The twiddleybits piece on the back has been painted with making memories white paint then covered in glue to adhere some white flocking. I have then glued the mirror butterfly on the top. I just love these mirror pieces... definitely one of my fav's!!
